The southern part of the Kingdom of Naples, which historically encompassed the regions of Calabria and the island of Sicily. Published in 1779 by Paolo Santini and subsequently distributed by M. Remondini. Santini was a Venetian map publisher known for reissuing maps by French cartographers, which were highly sought after by collectors and intellectuals of the time. Remondini, also based in Venice, was part of a family-operated printing and publishing house known for their wide distribution network across Europe.
