Map depicting Anatolia, Georgia, Armenia, Kurdistan, Diyarbak?r, Iraq and Syria from the "Atlante Nuovissimo illustrato ed accresciuto sulle osservazioni e scoperte fatte dai più celebri e più recenti geografi", printed by Antonio Zatta (1722-1804) in Venice between 1776 and 1785, and regarded as one of the most important atlases ever published in Italy, with the illustration of the new islands in the Pacific Ocean discovered by James Cook and with the first Italian map of New Zealand. The title and the typographical information are enclosed in a decorative cartouche.
